The Ledyard Senior Center Book Discussion meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Ledyard Senior Center to share in the book we just read. March is often a tough month, and if we can get through it, we rejoice in spring. Our book for this month, Educated by Tara Westover, is a memoir that illustrates this. Tara highlights the power and determination that led her to find her spring. “Educated is an account of the struggle for self-invention. It is a tale of fierce family loyalty and of the grief that comes with severing the closest of ties.” (goodreads)    Books are usually handed out at the previous session or can be picked up at the Gales Ferry Library.
